design a cartoon character based on their major exhibit The Lady Denman Ferry
to be used in promotions and as a fun mascot for the complex

Tobruk Diorama Australian War Memorial

Tobruk Diorama – Reconstruction and background painting with George Browning.
The original Diorama was a lot larger but very inaccurate, the decision was made to cut it down and reconstruct the terrain. The background originally modeled in plaster and totally out of scale was now painted, this created a greater depth of field with accurate reference supplied to paint the distant shore with all it’s buildings.

Lady Luck Poster

I took this photo at the Lady Luck Festival in Katoomba, such a great location for Classic Cars
I did a bit of quick photo shopping to arrive at a night scene.

Rod

I shoot allot of pictures of Classic cars and Hot Rods – I’m endlessly fascinated by the design detail and style of the classics especially.
Here i have combined various parts of different cars to make my own variation then I threw in a pin up added some wings to add some colour and interest,,
You cant have a car without a hot babe!

Local Rural Scene

This one is called Rock face, but really it should have been called Tree Face or something similar.
There was a hidden face in the tree, I know you can see faces anywhere
but this one really jumped out on when i was doing the coloured sketches on site.
Can you see it,,,

I was right into erosion,,,this one I got caught up with to many fiddly bits, should have concentrated on the tree roots more

Loved this tree, it looked amazing, one of my better efforts.

Bit of a story this one, you will have to work it out. Or leave it to the geniuses after I'm pushing up daisies.
Presuming someone will be interested of course.
